About Us

Eastern Anatolia Tourism Development Project is a regional development project, which is launched in March 2007 and will be implemented by a cooperation among United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Efes Plisen.

Mission: To develop a functional and participatory model of sustainable utilization of natural and cultural assets of the Çoruh Valley within the framework of tourism.

Vision: To create

• an exclusive region of tourism

• an environment in which natural, historical and cultural assets are protected or reconstructed in accordance with the needs of modern life

• high quality human resources

• a participatory local organization of tourism

Structure: The main offices of the project have been based in Erzurum and Ankara. There have also been site offices in Ispir and Uzundere.
