The district governor, Mevlüt Özen who has cut the opening ribbon together with the local and foreign sportsmen has stated "We hope this season would be at least as beneficial as the last season with more tourists." Last year, a total of 20.000 domestic and foreign tourists have come to town for rafting and kayaking besides other activities.
